Meet the New Zealand Heads of Mission to Latin America

The LANZBC, in conjunction with law firm Kensington Swan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade will host a working breakfast featuring three New Zealand Heads of Mission (HoM) to in Latin America on Friday, 27 May. The HoMs are here for a week of consultations and outreach, and look forward to meeting with people who are already doing business in Latin America or considering taking that step.
This is a unique opportunity to hear from New Zealand’s diplomatic representatives and Heads of Mission from Argentina, Chile and Mexico.

New Zealand Ambassador to Argentina (also Paraguay and Uruguay): Raylene Liufalani was appointed in February 2016, and presented her credentials to President Macri on 17 March. |

New Zealand Ambassador to Chile (also Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia): Jacqui Caine is a former LANZBC ex-ofício Director and was appointed in December 2014. |

New Zealand Ambassador to Mexico (also Central American countries and Venezuela): Clare Kelly took up the role of Ambassador to Mexico in May 2013. |
PLEASE NOTE: Due to unforeseen circumstances, Caroline Bilkey, NZ Ambassador to Brazil and Suriname, is no longer able to return to New Zealand.
Each Ambassador will offer brief comments on the countries they cover. Topics covered will include:
- An overview of the current socio-economic and political scenarios
- Opportunities for NZ exporter in each market
- Key things to keep in mind when doing business with the region
