Plastic & Foil Tapes.  Due to our developing market we manufacture Damp Proof Courses as a moisture vapour barrier to prevent the rise of moisture on housing where timber and concrete comes into contact.  12 years ago we diversified into supply of Fibreglass Segments and Building Insulation Blankets.  The latter because of our commercial commitments is the type that we specialised in.  We also developed technology to machine laminate Thermabar Reflective Foils to Fibreglass Blanket.  We specialise in laminating 50mm, 75mm, 100mm, 150mm and 200mm Fibreglass to our foils and currently export this to the pacific region. 

Three years ago Thermakraft invested a large sum of dollars in a new Tri-Laminating Plant which is the only Non-Woven Lamination Plant for construction products in Australasia.  This machine provides a breathable film laminated between two layers of high tensile white (light reflecting) polypropylene non-woven.  Our product “Covertek” is now produced in three popular weights.  Its advantage over other forms of roofing and wall wraps is numerous with the main reasons of choice rot resistant, unaffected by moisture or water and high hold-out but breathable.  The ideal secondary water and vapour barrier for industrial and domestic construction.

Currently home to over 50 companies, we are located on 17 hectares of land and offer modern commercial and laboratory facilities in an attractive park setting. More importantly, our tenants have ready access to specialist resources and research facilities, and operate in a collaborative environment which connects them to the region’s most successful companies.
